Spedizione dagli USA

Ho chiesto il prezzo di una spedizione ad un venditore negli usa, mi ha
risposto così:

"The shipping for the new MFJ 969 to Italy is $88.30, this is Fedex
shipping, it comes with a tracking number, you can track it all the way to
you and it also includes insurance.
I have a duty free number for Italy, there would be no custom duty tax, but,
you would still have to pay the VAT tax, you pay that to your country and
that is based on the value of the package, all you pay me is for the item
and shipping."

Quindi io cosa dovrei pagare oltre ai 88.30 $ ?

dice che non devi pagarla. Sinceramente mi pare strana questa cosa, e
se anche fosse vera, comunque la maggior parte delle tasse è
rappresentata dall'iva. Dazi e presentazione in dogana sono a
confronto pochi spicci.

dogana, lo stesso oggetto l'ho comprato a febbraio di quest'anno e sti
bastardi mi hanno fregato 35,00 euro, vi lascio immaginare come sono
rimasto. :-(

una volta i limiti entro cui non si pagava dogana erano di una
quarantina di euro, ma so che sarebbero aumentati. Sei sicuro che li
abbiano già alzati? Perché altrimenti, nel tuo caso, avresti
semplicemente avuto fortuna per il secondo oggetto e pagato il dovuto
(chiamiamolo dovuto, va...) sul primo.
